Spend 3 days getting to know the beauties of Slavonia and Baranya region and our capital city with visit to the Zoo.

Day 1: VUKOVAR – ILOK - OSIJEK

Departure at 07:00 in front of the school. Drive with short stopping. Arrival to Vukovar, an old baroque town.  Among very atractive, yet severley damaged, many buildings stand out, for example the Eltz castle built in 18th century, old baroque buildings in the centre of the city, the Franciscan Monastery, the Church of St. Philip and Jacob, the Parochial Orthodox Church of St. Nicholas. The tour of Vukovar also includes a visit to hospital, cemetary and the Ovčara Memorial Centre. Departure to Ilok, the easternmost city in Croatia also known as the city of monuments and wine. It is located in Syrmia region, surrounded by the slopes and vineyards of Fruška Gora overlooking the Danube river. Visit to the Church of St. John of Capistrano and Iločki podrumi („Old Cellars of Ilok“). Departure to Osijek located in Slavonia in eastern Croatia surrounded with fertile agricultural lowland . Accomodation in Mursa hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: OSIJEK – KOPAČKI RIT

Breakfast at the hotel. Free time for morning sightseeing of Osijek, the city surrounded with three large rivers, Danube, Drava and Sava. It has many historical buildings as well as sacral objects. Departure at 12:00 by a tourist bus to Kopački rit nature park, one of the largest and most attractive preserved intact wetlands in Europe. Sightseeing of the park and visit to Tikveš castle. The possibility of organising lunch. Departure around 16:00 in the afternoon. Arrival to hotel Porin. Dinner and ovenight.

Day 3: ZAGREB

Breakfast. Departure by a bus to Maksimir park and Zoo. Panoramic tour through Donji grad - the Main Station, Tomislav Square, Zrinjevac, Croatian National Theatre. Visit to Chatedral on Kaptol dedicated to St. Stephen, a walk to the central square of Zagreb, the Ban Jelačić Square and its Manduševac fountain, then over Krvavi most (translated as „The Bloody Bridge“) to the Tkalčićeva street. Passing through Kamenita vrata the tour continues on Gornji grad, walking near Banski dvori, St. Mark's Church and Parliament of Croatia located in the St. Mark's Square, visit to Katarina Zrinski Square, Jesuit Square and the Lotrščak Tower. Free time for personal programs. Departure at 18:00. Arrival to the departure point in the evening hours.
